If you’re an Intended Parent or looking to become one, you will quickly come to understand how important your Surrogate will be to you. Not only are they going to quickly become a huge part of your life, but they are also the ones who will be giving you the gift of growing or starting your family. This means that you are going to want to show them how grateful you are for the selfless gift they are giving you. That’s why we put together some different ways that you can show your Surrogate gratitude!
Reach Out
The first and easiest way to show you are grateful is to simply reach out! Many people don’t often think of the value and thought that goes into simply calling or sending a text, but it often leaves the recipient filled with joy. Since there is no correct way of reaching out, just do what feels the best based on your relationship with your Surrogate.
Send A Card
We’re talking about mailing a physical card, not an e-card! There’s something special in the lost art of mailing someone something. The card doesn’t have to say much to have a huge impact on your Surrogate. Just write what you feel and drop it in your local mailbox!
Organize a Get-Together
We know that traditional get-togethers are not possible right now, but virtual ones are! With platforms like Zoom, Facebook, and more, it’s easier than ever to connect while staying safe and healthy. We suggest planning your virtual get-together first and then letting your Surrogate know before sending out an official invitation. This will show your Surrogate that you care about how they feel and make for a great virtual event.
Give Back
What better way to show how grateful you are for your Surrogate’s hard work than by giving back to other Surrogates and Intended Parents?
